Hi, I’m Anne.
Advocate +
Amplifier.
I was diagnosed in adulthood with cone-rod dystrophy, a progressive retinal disease that reshaped how I navigate the world. Not long after, I began living with New Daily Persistent Headache — a chronic condition that altered both my career and daily life.
Losing vision did not diminish my voice. It refined it.
What began as personal adversity became professional clarity. My work is grounded in accessibility, representation, and the belief that inclusion is not an accommodation — it is a responsibility.
Over time, sharing my experience evolved into shaping conversations.
I delivered a TEDx talk on seeing beyond the darkness — inviting audiences to reconsider how we define limitation and possibility. I went on to author Resilience and Purpose, a book exploring strength, identity, and meaning in the face of adversity.
Today, I serve in leadership and advisory roles within the blind and visually impaired community, including board and council positions with CNIB. My advocacy extends beyond storytelling into policy, representation, and systems change.
From Story to Stage
Creativity does not rely on perfect sight.
It lives in listening. In texture. In tone. In presence.
Whether I’m behind a microphone recording commercial, narration, or character work — or standing on a keynote stage — I approach my work with the same intention: to amplify voices that deserve to be heard and to challenge rooms to expand their perspective.
My professional voice training and speaking experience allow me to translate lived experience into work that is both emotionally resonant and technically precise.
In Studio and In Rooms
Today, I collaborate with brands, nonprofits, conferences, and creative teams committed to building more inclusive experiences.
If you’re looking for a voice that carries depth — or a speaker who moves audiences beyond awareness — I’d be honoured to work together.
